The nearest airport to reach Gangtok, Sikkim and Darjeeling, Wes Bengal is Bagdogra Airport which is approximately 130 km (5-6hrs drive) & 128 km (4-5 hrs drive) respectively. Kolkata is well connected by major Domestic & International Airlines.

The nearest railway station to reach Sikkim & Darjeeling is New Jalpaiguri Railway Station.

If one opts for traveling by road then there are number of entry points for Bhutan....

1 DAY

NJP RAILWAY STATION / IXB (BAGDOGRA AIRPORT) - GANGTOK
Pick- up at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport. Transfer to Gangtok (5500ft /130kms / 04 hrs.) Overnight stay at Hotel at Gangtok.

2 DAY

TSANGU EXCURSION
Morning proceed for an excursion to Tshangu Lake & Baba Mandir (12400ft. / 54kms / 03 hrs.). Evening back to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Hotel at Gangtok.

3 DAY

GANGTOK – LACHEN
Pick-up from hotel at Gangtok at about 10 a.m. proceed to Lachen (130 Km) at an altitude of 9000 ft. On the way stop and enjoy a few wonderful locations like Tashi Viewpoint, Kabi Lungstok, Naga Waterfalls, the confluence of Lachen chu and Lachung Chu at Chungthang, Twin Waterfalls and Bhim Nala Waterfalls. Lunch will be served at Namok. You are likely to reach Lachen at late afternoon /in the evening and will check in our hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.

4 DAY

LACHEN - CHOPTA VALLEY –GURUDONGMAR LAKE - LACHUNG
Morning Excursion to Chopta Valley & Gurudomgar Lake (13000ft. / 70kms / 03hrs).After lunch transfer to Lachung. Overnight stay at Hotel

5 DAY

LACHUNG – YUMTHANG - GANGTOK
After breakfast full day excursion to Yumthang Valley & Hot Spring (11800ft / 1½ Hrs). After lunch, transfer to Gangtok (124kms/06hrs). Overnight stay at Hotel.

6 DAY

GANGTOK – NJP RAILWAY STATION / IXB AIRPORT
